The kid says all he wants is $1500 because he needs rid of the car, he's moving... rims not included, apparently the crank pulley and belt need replaced... any thoughts on this? Yes the first things I would do is remove the ridiculous rice and get OEM replacements.. apparently some of the audio equipment was stolen as well so we'd have to see..

$1500 is a steal. Depending on how messed it is and how hard it's going to be able to fix or to make sure it's not a "lemon". Other than that it looks like a steal to me. ;) ;D

pull-a-parts are your friend -or he could probably find some ricer fag who would want the peices and probably trade even up. make a ricer happy as hell, and sinister could have what he wanted. best of both worlds.

and im sure hes been looking for quite some time now for a hatch around this price. not a bad deal for the $1,500- even if the head is fucked from the belt/pully. a $500 d15b would be perfect.

Can of worms I'd say. Let's be honest, it's going to take a lot to de-rice that car, and one you do, you still have to worry about the motor. If something went wrong with the crank pulley, who knows what could have happened or what damage it could have caused.

Buy it and remove the rice parts and sell them. With the money you can get stockers and some go fast goodies. No brainer. Buy it.

Buy it, sell all the rice parts, make your money back. Even if the car is ---- in the end, you "didn't" pay anything for it. See my rice rocket thread. :) https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=48870.0 After I sold the b16 and rims, I made all of my money back and got a free Z6 out of the deal. :)

Just be ready for a ton of work.

It may take some work like everyone said, but look at it this way too...you and I both live in PA...we both know what the salt and crap up here does to Hondas, and the body looks pretty damn straight and pretty much rust- free. I'd say for $1500 it's a steal, and always plenty of other ricers around that you can make a nice coin off of selling them the parts. 8)

i disagree, with the money / time you spend de-ricing it is not worth it imo. is that painted interior i see?

why would you want to take off all the body parts and ---- to get stock ones it looks fine your going to be wasting time and if you did sell all that stuff it would probly cost more then you made after you add up for the paint and stuff. it looks pretty sick just turbo that thing and you got yourself a sweet ride
