might buy a new car need hmts thoughts

well i was sittin in the passanger seat of my buddies boosted civic we were doing test runs on and we pul up to the light and i see a daytona.... then i see a for sell sign in the window (FOR SALE 87 DAYTONA SHELBY Z TURBO) i was damn ..this thing is hella mint no rust on it all nice black paint job prolly only a couple years old ... heres the best part.. the guy wants $1200 bucks.. no ----.... he hasn't really done anything to it performance wise other than exhaust and the fuel pump wwent out so he swapped in a walbro 255.. so i met up with the guy and drove it around and was pretty impressed it wasnt too fast but its quick for what it is ... they have 174 bhp with forged rods pistons and crank STOCK.. its a five speed and holds the stock 12psi all the way to redline he jsut redid the brakes and suspension car handles really well ... so what to you guys think should i snatch it up and go hmt style on this bitch .. it has a stock intercooler but plans are hard piping kit with a nice cca intercooler wit hmt on the front ... then im ganna do more.. but i wanna start with keeping her cooled down .. lemme know what yall think ...

FWD Mopars have lots of potential.Im sure alot of people will not like it because its a Dodge but I d say go for it.They had a few electrical gremlins but those are cheap fixes. There is also quite a bit of support out there for them on various forums etc.

Actually I just talked to the guy and gave him a deposit, 8) 8)

Nah not really...........but you probably should, you don't want anyone buying it before you.
I like those cars, and with some love it could be a nice sleeper. Just make sure the engine is running smooth, with all those years you don't want a bad engine that you can't easily replace.

Do it. Do it. Do it.................

I'd say thats a good deal. You only live once, I've never talked to anyone and heard them say that this is their second time around in life.
