You got to be careful, the H22 is the Honda big-block. SO, when is it going to be boosted?

in all seriousness though.. I give props to you guys... Ive had my freakin motor for like 3 years... and I just manage to get it all apart. to rebuild...Im hoping i can finish the rebuild by summer installed and everything..

Re: midwest crew h22 swap !!!!!

that must be a cheap ass hoist, all the h22 swaps that ive done the motor has either done in from the bottom, or we just put the motor itself in from the top and tranny in later ;D . whatever as long as you git-r-dun :6

ok lets add it up

motor $2199 + $300 for lsd
shipping $275
hasport mounts $599
axles $399
harness from rywire $210

so when all that adds up to $4000 $3600 aint bad

---- starts to add up when you buy all the good ----, but if you want to order it from tom dick and joe's motor yard than go ahead and get ripped off. and i can promiss you if you are putting that in a civic you arnt getting everything for $1900

my bad, thats still too much. So soldering and heat shinking is ------ rigging? you should notify honda they ------ rig their cars from the factory.

Re: midwest crew h22 swap !!!!!

well technically you should use a h22 harness and the single cam harness combined to make the perfect harness, and thats probably what they do. It takes about 2 hours to make the harness (well it did for me my first time). 210 bucks is about right for something like that. If you dont know ---- about wiring its definatly the way to go.

Re: midwest crew h22 swap !!!!!

its well worth 210.... i looked and couldnt find a write up.... and rx7tocivic if you used a stock sohc harness it was ------ riggin and prolly not fast ... A. it was prolly a usdm h22 and B. what did you use for wiring up the secondary butterflies?

eliminated the IAB's they are no good for boost. it was a H22a, jdm. 197 whp on a stock open header. It runs alright
