Have any of you phuckers tried microsoft's new antispyware?

I downloaded it at work, but really didn't test it out yet. From what I've seen so far it doesn't look all too bad. I tried DLing at home but I have a corporate license so I can't DL it. :-\

Any one have a valid xp key for me? :D

Just to warn you, usually MS has those XP registration keys sent to their servers as verification to stop illegal copying. I'd reccommend against doing that till someone can assure you that they aren't checked.

If I was the type of person to get spyware, I'd check it out... :P

my roommate d/led it and he loves it. im not too sure how well it works but he seems to like it.

We got it at worka dn it didn't find a lot of stuff Ad-aware found. I deem it useless.

i have xp pro too, it asks me if i wanna validate my copy and i tell it no then it lets me download

Just go on any DL client and get a new key and you should be fine.

You you just need to change the registration number to a newer non know pirated number. serials 2000 ownz you!

lol. microsoft allows spyware on their os so why would it come oput with shitty software to circumvent it?

thats why i switched to linux.

www.pcstats.com has a review.. they basically said its good, but not good enough to be your ONLY anti-spy software. use it and ad-aware SE.

really it worked pretty well on my comp. it found much more than ad-aware did. also it runs on its own every day at like 8 am so when i wake up it is done. i like it so far

You can choose to not validate your version of windows and still be able to download it.

Also, they just bought Giant Software and slapped their label on the software. There is no way they could have modified the software to check for the serial number and report back in the time between the buyout and the release of the feature. There is considerable development and testing involved on a feature like that.

I dont have any spyware on my computer at all. I dont use P2P programs :P ad-aware didnt do ---- for me when I did do P2P though. Bearshare gives THE MOST spyware EVER!

I know, but I dont visit porn sites either. and I pretty much stick around the same websites all the time. Not a lot of "surfing" going on here.
