messed up cf hood, fixable?
I took my cf hood off to spray a clearcoat on it. I was holding it vertically and I lost my grip so it tipped over, I had to grab it really fast but I only got hold of the edge and the fiber peeled and the resin shattered slicing the hell out of my hand and fingers. I should put a picture but you guys probably have an idea of how it looks. It's about a 4 inch square that's peeled up (Like uhhh.... like a banana! ) But seriously is that fixable? how much? Or would it be better to buy a new hood because the ---- looks all nasty and not glossy anymore anyway?

Wow... it peel back? ..was that like an OBX CF hood?!
I had a VIS hood take the brunt of my Dual Point intake manifold exploding due to a nitrous backfire a few years back and only had a small spider crack.
I'm glad I didn't have that hood.. the damn though would have shattred into a million peices.
Get a new hood.

Sounds not like a vis hood.
I had one a couple years ago on an old eg si. I hit some taurus going 20, and thehood was tough, barely chipped on the corner, even though my headlight assembly was pushed in about 6 inches. (No bumper support beam, weight reduction )
