has anyone ever looked at the members list and realize how many registered members there are that do absolutely nothing here? it just crossed my mind...isnt there like a drop off date or something when you have like little to no post? or something like msn does when you dont check your mail for 30 days lol!?

 

probably not. They could go through and cut everyone that hasn't looged in in a year i suppose.

why trim members? sponsors look at total member count when considering whether or not to become an affiliate. trim members, and lose potential sponsors because it wont look like the site gets that much traffic

 

yes i understand about that, but isnt that determined by total active members, not by how many are registered. we could have 60000 members registered, but what good would it do if we have 4000 active? what ever happened to the other 54000? that doesnt look good on any forum imo... this is just from a logical standpoint that seems well... logical and reasonable to me....

 

a lot of people lurk like i did for the first year. now if they haven't logged on in forever, thats another story. i used to just log in and read everything and never post.
