I think his best was a 16.4, he was kind of disappointed but he still has a full exhaust so I think its his exhaust that’s probably all clogged up.

My best time was a 16.3. I don't know what the problem is, I should easily be in the 15's. I can post a time slip. Here is what i have done...

-dohc zc
-zc tranny
-pg7
-dx exhuast manifold and old exhaust
-act clutch

what is my problem?

I think zc's are really low 16 second cars. I used to hear all this bullshit about zc's running low to mid 15's before I put mine in. I've run my car with gtech (i know it sucks) but I did it on a perfectly flat road and got a best of 16.1. I've got a full exhaust and zc tranny thats it. I think the people who said zc's are quick are guys from ht.

I know someone who ran a 14.9 with a zc in his 88 crx. Although it is lighter. But every where I read times on zc's they say high 14's - mid 15's range.

Well, I guess it's time to turbo.

might be your altitude. here some guy ran a 15.9 with a zc in civic DX(that was me) it's probly tha way you drive.
