Default market research - CRX

I am doing this for a class and I want to know what you guys think.

1991 CRX SI, in whatever color you want, b16a swap (other swaps for more or less), CARB legal, nice set of rims, all body work done, complete interior with a nice cd player and auto climate control, no P/S, has power windows, locks, ETC.. Basically a new car but the frame will have in access of 150k miles on it. Options for turbo of course. The car would have a stock warranty of 3 years on a non-modified car.

Now my question would you buy this car for $10,000 starting price?

If so, car being this old financing would be virtually non existent except for a personal loan of some sort, how would you pay for it if you had to pay for it tomorrow, assuming you have excellent credit?

Thanks!

To your first question, I would not buy it for that price as there are many other options out there for that price and if I just double the money plus some more I'd be the Supra Turbo range. Even then I could put together a similar car to my likings under 10,000 and still be legal.

Second question, I wouldnt buy it so I'd steal it from someone! haha j/k! If I was going to buy it'd be selling miscellaneous things like my car, laptop, sound systems, my 30 million unborn children, ya know the works... =) But if all fails, save $$$ for the SOB!

I'd like you to quote that last line in your research as well please...

that's a big no on that one chief. what do you mean by "all body work done" like a body kit with a wing and altezzas with projector headlights? if so I'll take it, do you take paypal? my grandma will be home later so I can get her credit card.

10g is alot, at my current job I'd have to work for 3 years to make that much and not spend any of it.

this is basically making a stock CRX with a ton of miles new again with more power ETC. Kinda like recycleing cars without crushing them.

I think $10,000 is completely out of the question. This car better run a 12 second or under. Not only would I not pay that much for this car, I wouldn't pay for a car that was already modded. I want to do the work, ya know? I don't want something someone else has modded and raped, yada yada yada. Not only that, I can't see putting $10,000 into that car unless it is running some serious times at the track. What do you get for the $10,000?
