Meet took place yesterday. ctwebt i believe set it up he is also a member on here.. IT was all 88-91 civics, cr'x etc. pretty much a ef9 meet lol... Um lotta nice cars some ghetto turbo kits. pretty fun alot of really cool people helping with ideas and so forth.

well technically i didn't belong there lol i have 00 Si. im from philly however asm 91 crx si went so i tagged along with him, hes like my best friend and partner in crime !

yeah man we pretty much go to anything and everything. next on our calendar i think is carlisle for the swap meet..
i think its may 2nd and 3 rd i believe but we shall be there.

What's the purpose of those 2 little breathers on the left side? I mean it's an N/A car, why not just connect them with a hose like it was meant too? Or is there a difference? And the hole on the block that the right breather is connected too.. I thought it was where the exhaust gases pump out to the intake or does it turn into a vacuum too?

Hey Shortyz, he has an intercooler. See the mounting brakets that come up? and that pipe is coming from up front, not the turbo... I looked hard at it for a while.

Yup he does have an intercooler ... you can see it.
But you guys should know better by judging other peoples ride.
This is homemadeturbo.
Maybe he had to pay bills and couldn't buy enough charge pipes.
At least he has the heat shield still on and he obviously sprayed the pipes with hopefully high temp paint.

dude, ,theres no heat sheild ;)

he has a IC, but is loosing some of the efficiency by having the charge pipes go right above the manifold like that. But, its a different idea and i bet the air doesnt get heated by the manifold too much. Almost looks like a suby engine with charge pipes like that.

That crx has some kinda front mounted intercooler with both end tanks being on the same side.

those pipes look funny when u first look at them but when u touch them u can pretty much tell that have at least 1 or 2 mm of high temp paint. So i doubt the heat really affects it that much.


91accord, to be honest i guess he just has them two breathers for looks because i can't really figure out a reason.. Some of the cars were crispy some where ghetto, some were stock.. feel the drift?

however!!

86 crx si TURBO ZC lol no bs. thing looked like it had been thru hell and back however it was nasty.

dude had a mullet and all, really nice guy older at that...

FULL ITR changeover, had a hydro tranny conversion and get this..
