Manualy closing a CRX sunroof.

I just finished painting my CRX and now the sunroof seems to have quit working. when I first finished It didnt work and then today it worked for a few seconds and then stopped partley open. What I want to know is if there is any way to manualy close it or if anyone has any ideas as to what is happening.

Look for a little plastic cap in your headliner and pull it off, there should be a little drive in there that you can turn with an allen wrench.

My sunroof has been money until now. I checked the fuse and the switch and those are good. I'm geussing that when i pulled the antenna wire through I knocked something out of wack. I really hope it didnt just die. If it did I geuss it will give me an excuse to buy a CF plug to match my sexy new hood.

If you can manually open and close it (hint: use a 6pt bit with a drill) then, it's probably the switch or the ground to the motor. If it doesn't want to close manually, it's a mechanical problem.

Mine does the same thing. The problem with mine is that the 2 stoppers that prevent the roof from comming out of the tracks are broken. I can push it as I hold the switch and it closes. You can pick up 2 new ones from the honda dealership for $12.

I already checked the back of the switch to make sure all the wires are still intact, so I don't think its that unless the switch itself is shot which I doubt. Where is the ground to the motor though. I didnt know there was one and It would be nice if that was all that the problem was. Also where to the wires from the sunroof to the switch/power run. If there up the drivers side piller then might I have fucked something when I shoved the antenna down there. If so how easy is it to take of that cover.
