Manifold design
Well i have everything to make my turbo manifold. But i was just thinking and instead of making a plain log manifold what about a short tubular....what do you think?
Keep in mind i don't want anything to difficult as my skillz aren't as good as others Let me know. Also keep in mind this is just meant to be a simple set-up using a 14B. I'm not looking for CRAZY high Hp! |
Re:Manifold design
A short tubular wouldn't be bad.. I wouldn't get much more radical than that. ;)

Re:Manifold design
i'd say wait for nicer weather!! ;)

Re:Manifold design
Why? ??? He should do it now ;)

Re:Manifold design
Meh, take your time, do it right and work on it throughout the winter... when your finished, you'll have a nice looking/working manifold that you've created.

i also think we are getting off topic as usual 8)

Re:Manifold design
Build a manifold for the Ms. That way it's a 2 for 1 deal ;)

Re:Manifold design
I was thinking ITB's for now
or CRVTEC cause i found a B20Z for $200 |
Re:Manifold design
Why not a CRVtec B20Z w/ ITB's? ;)

Re:Manifold design
I think that would be pretty badass and still quite reliable.
|
Re:Manifold design
What is the B20Z as compared to the normal B20? Is it the Vtec version? My mother's got a CRV B20 but it's not Vtec and it's slow as ---- :P
|
Re:Manifold design
non-vtec
|
Re:Manifold design
b20z is the higher compressin version of the b20's. The other version is the b20b. With a b16 head I think the b20z gives close to 10:1 and the b20b is closer to 9:1. My friend had a CRVTEC with a b20z and a b16 head that was pretty decent. I don't think I would ever do one unless I just ended up with the parts laying around.

Re:Manifold design
spoon fed, don't waste youre time trying to make a funky nice design, The log style manifold is the best suited, easiest to make, and will flow more then enough. wana-be equal length manifolds are for people who like slow spooling turbos, hotter underhood temperatures, and more money then they know what to do with.

Re:Manifold design
a short tubular like the ones here:

Re:Manifold design
What kind of collector are you gonna use?

Re:Manifold design
I think i'm just making the log manifold
