I knew it was fake, but i still love the show because it entertains me...although if people really want to get pissed off do a yahoo search for "bear grylls fraud" "bear grylls controversy" or "bear grylls hotel" You will find things like in the episode where he was trying to catch a wild horse, those were really trained horses brought in by trailer. Or when he was stuck on a desert island he was really staying at a luxury resort in hawaii. There is a ton of ---- that pisses me off, but people have to be ------- stupid to believe that everything on the show is real. Discovery has confirmed a lot of things, but one thing they do stand by is that there are NO stuntmen, he does it all himself, so I'll at least accept that part of it. 
The truth behind the show is this, he did serve with special forces, he is an amazing adventurist, he does hold a few world records, and he does know his survival ----, he just prefers to sit in his hot tub and get room service before he goes out for the day :P His actual carreer right now is a motivational speaker.

Urine is sterile and non toxic. He just said that because he didn't want to drink his own urine on TV.
Urine contains excess nutrients that were in your blood, so if it was so toxic then you'd be dead or sick anyway.
