Blockbuster?! you beleive in giving away money?! Pfft you are young padawn learner Remember the god given right of buy and return. I might look into buying a mod chip but not atm considering school isn't even starting for another couple of months and i would buy in bulk . Either way time to look at reviews.

hey leet tard, media is now less than $0.40 a disc
http://www.supermediastore.com/super...vd-plus-r.html
$19 divided by 50 is $0.38 and when you buy more the price goes down to $0.34 so after shipping if you buy 400 disk your still under $0.40 a disc. we have never had a problem with quality in the over 2 years weve been doing this we buy the cheapest we can find and have never had a problem. we have over 400+ dvds and ps2 rips in our collection now and the only time weve produced coasters was the other day when we lost power 3 times. get your facts straight.

for dvd media go to:

and for your mod needs check

Go get a spin doctor. They are supposed to be able to clear up pretty deep scratches.

Well last night i was trying to see if i could play grand tourismo 3 with my copy of the original, So i attempted just ejecting the original and inserting my copy somewhere after the boot. Turns out Sony and its siq copy protection rechecks if it's a valid game again if you open the ps2 with the eject button. So i decide to pop my ps2 open and try a hot swap while the original game is in there. Well in an attempt to take the front cover lid thing on the tray (so i can see what i can mess with underneath the cd tray to allow a manual pull of the tray)i pull too much and i started moving the tray out instead of just removing the lid cover :\.I look in the tray after i remove the lid and see the piston that comes up to spin the disc is enabled. Now in a desperate attempt to get the tray closed again and acting like normal i start putting some force to it to fully open and shut(would not go in without forcing fully out). Well after i get it shut again i turn up my ps2 and aparently it thinks that there is a disc in the system and wont open the door while my eject buttons light is solid blue the whole time -_-. I'm pretty sure the tray motor is still working and hopefully it's just another siq sony protection keeping the track of how the tray opens in stages and something just needs to be tripped inside the drive(some manual switch the tray engages while moving). Problem now is i need to go out and buy some machine screwdrivers because the top screws on the dvd drive are smaller than (insert someones small ***** joke) :\. Anyone have any diagrams for the sony dvd drive i would greatly appreciate it hopefully this can be solved tommorow.

Oh yeah it's a scph 39001 if that matters any (i will probably just end up returning it to walmart or something if i can get a retard who wont check if the sony seal sticker isn't there

Another edit Just for kicks anyone ever manage to get the silver big ribbon cable back into the dvd drive and get it to work? : >

when i was doing PS2 mods i would take a high heat soldering iron, and alligator clip, and in insulated fine tip needlenose jewler's plier. Aligator clip the tip of your iron to one end of the wire, and hold the other end on the point that needs to be soldered with the needle nose. the wire get hot enough to melt the solder on the board already and bond it to your wire.
