MAME gamers check out what my brother sent me.
its an arcade stick that he made from scratch. i got my brother into emulation a long time back and hes surpassed me in it. so far hes made 3 arcade cabinets. the forum that hes usually at is called arcadecontrols.com , kinda like the hmt of arcades.

Wait till we get our projector up with the htpc/360/ps3/home theater setup.
I'm gonna get fucked up and play the original mario brothers on a 120" screen to relive the old days.

thats alot more advance that ive ever done....
Ive always just used the microsoft sidewinder joystick... that you can get at frys for like 5 bucks, then rewire iit with some joystick, and the same amount of buttons...

im going to build one and put it in my bonus room. i think it whould be baller to have galaga running in the background.
last time i stayed at his place we had a ball playing marvel vs capcom for hours. nothing like playing oldschool games liike the way they where meant to be.
as far as monitors go, he just uses an old tv set with a cheapo $40 grafixs card and it works like a charm. he says the whole settup costs around $250 not including the pc or tv. but thats a settup with the trackball and twister controllers ( guerilla war, contra) so im sure one can be built for a good amount less.
