100% wrong. That is a legally binding contract. Even if it was written on a napkin as long as its a written agreement it'll hold up in court.
If it was me I would call the kid and say "I'm comming to pick up my car." since its legally still is yours. Of course the kid isn't going to like that and if he gives you problems than call the police and report it stolen. The car is yours go pick it up. Thats a really good contract you written and if you play your cards right you can make out really good on this deal.

I would have to agree with whitey. call the ****** up, ask for the $$. when he says he doesnt have it, tell him you want your car back and you will give his money back. (even if you dont have it, hes still gonna stumble, still gonna work in your favor) then when he says, he doesn't have the car, then tell him in a polite way that you will be in contact with your lawyer, and you can settle it that way. first, give him the option. then your the nice guy. that also will be able to used in court. make sure you document when you called him, and what was said. that paperwork could also be used in your favor, since you were trying to help him out.

what you have is a legally binding contract, I don't care if it is written on ---- stained toilet paper. I personally wouldn't have given it to him without full payment, but I would ask a cop what would be done in that situation if they say they can't do anything, just have the car towed, you have the title. But if you keep your cool and talk to the right person at the police station, they should help you out, but do this ---- asap, before the car disappears
