So how many people picked it up today? I rented it for $7 and burned it to my HD. What was the retail on that thing?

Looking forward to wasting my days away on the Xbox again.

no, i'm actually waiting to buy another that i can hack, because i love playing online and eventually gamertags are gonna get banned if they are modded. soon though, i will have a hacked one.

I just went back to college tonight, so I had to decide between good grades or Madden. I'll get it sometime. My prob. is that I get addicted to the game, last year I played 6 full seasons in franchise mode. I still have Madden 94 for sega

At least my normal Xbox mod chip can just be turned off for online play. Not sure about the 360 ones, havn't looked into it yet.

I suppose I will have to do that too. :P

same here. halo pretty much fucked up my freshman year. I have so little credits it would have been as if I was only a part time student :'(

there isnt really a mod chip for the 360, the is a flasher that flashes the dvd rom of the 360 so it wont read the verification codes, or something like that.

yep, you just reflash the dvd rom, then it can play burned games. the only thing is that you need a specific pioneer dvd burner to burn the games at this time.

plaza was open, game stop and planet x was open at midnight for almost 2 hours.

i was a ps fan for years n years. xbox360 converted me for many reasons. playing online games is 1 thing, but havin an xbox online community with downloads, updates, releases, preview movies, sport scores, movie trailers, friends list, private chats, complete online community. ps3 may have it now, but only cuz it copied. i dont care much for the ps3 n dont plan to buy one. blue ray disc with 80 dollar games, 600 off the launch. im not saying it will suck, i jus prefer 360 over xbox for the community thing its got goin on. street fighter II came out few weeks ago... playing a classic game online over xbox live. wow... a free texas holdem game came out for xbox live, more n more games are comin n they all jus save to the hard drive.

Got Madden on the PSP, its pretty cool, and the only reason i would get PS3 is for Tekken.

i doubt it. blu-ray dvds are 35 a pop. games are gonna be like 75-80 for sure.

blue ray sir, is the format. hd-dvd, dvd rom, cd rom n so forth... blue-ray disc are expensive and so will the games

normal 360 games are like 60 bux for new releases. some were 40 some are now 30 or 50 bux. not to bad. system is still 399 for premium package or 299 for core system

madden's fun haha, i dont care what anyone says. playin it over xbox live makes it even better. communicating with ur opponent as you smash on it for a td or first down is halarious. just invite all your friends over n have a madden night. me n all my friends play madden for a few hours atleast once a day

yeah hd advanced here....i love the game, but superstar kinda sucks (you cant call your own plays)well i know xbox online is different then ps2 online but i've played on-line and i dont care for it too much (atleast on ps2....and i only played halo online for x-box)

your will be converted if you ever, get on an xbox... play for a few hours or own one for a few days and you'll realize how the "online community" not just online play... is a better experience then normal play. its the only way to play

---- we've been playing madden at my house since it came out lol. For some reason i always end up in last place :-\. I can't help when i tuck the ball with the rb and he still fumbles after being hit stuck. :D
