Re: mad drift in fwd
Myfriend drifts his ef hatch better than that. He can get it almost 90 degrees before bringing it back

Re: mad drift in fwd
you cant technically drift a FWD car. a drift is 100% controlled, you cant do that in a fwd car.
those are some nice techniques though. |
Re: mad drift in fwd
I assure you can slide around a front wheel drive and be under 99.999999999 percent control. I ice race a car that spends a ton of time sideway, 8 hours of driving a weekend. I do lose it a few times a year. But race side by side.

Re: mad drift in fwd
Tiff Needell is a freaking legend. He co-hosts a show here in the UK called fifth gear. Pretty much any RWD car he gets to test around a track ends up sideways with the rears smoking heavily. He has even competed in D1GB. O0

Re: mad drift in fwd
I understand we are talking about two different conditions. The co friction is different between the two. But you can set up a car to be lose and very back end happy. This is true on any track.

Re: mad drift in fwd
whether or not a fwd can drift is just depending on how you use the term drift. drift to me is a slide you can hold for ever, thats part of winning an event, you cant get control at any point if you want to win ever. with a fwd you can never hold one forever so imo its an e brake slide
