Re: maaco

Go rent a compressor, pick up a gun on eGay, and make you a temp paint booth out of plastic. Will turn out better than maaco.

I've seen 2 earl scheibbe (sp?) jobs and they look like they sandblast the car after they paint it. There is not one bit of shine at all. On the plus side they usually paint your exhaust, tires, headlights and tail lights for no extra charge.

I picked up one of those temporary garages (read big ass tent) when I had to paint ----, used it as my paint booth for a couple months.

Worked ------- great until the township supervisor flipped the ---- out and took us to court.

Sidenote anyone in WPA that needs a temporary paint booth I still have it.

Re: maaco

That's what I'll be doing. Lay plastic under the tented area also. Seal up all the seams and have a fan sucking air out. ---- $2k for a decent paint job.
