ACT recommends a 500 mile break in, but I am glad I did not cheap out like I usually do and get one of those clutches, instead I went with a ACT stage 4 with extreme pressure plate, 408ft lbs capability, upgrade from my fried exedy stage 2. but wish I could have found a clutch masters stage 4 for the same price.

No, that's what happens to any pressure plate after pressing the peddle in with the motor running. :1 The new one will look like that in about 30 seconds. :P
