That about the best you will find. I've run my OBX for 2 seasons strong now. I love it and we are getting another for one of our cars.

Tell that to the passenger side axle I tore the circlip retaining groove off of hammering the stuck axle out. Also discuss it with the fucked up beyond recognition circlip, or the OBX internal spline that was unmarred and unbevelled when I took it apart to introduce it to Mr Dremel. AFAIK, it was a problem with ALL early OBX units. The driverside was not bevelled, either, but since there is not circlip on intermediate shafts it is a nonissue.

I've never had an issue getting axles out with my OBX. I've done it 3-4 times, slight prybar pop and it's out. So I must have a new model.

I think it was the first 2 months of production/import/sales.

The splines were bevelled on the outside. I never checked, the splined widgets can probably be installed backwards and that is why "there is no bevel" ie 8 year old slave labor got it wrong.

Ya, but there welders have to start somewhere on the producton line, so assemblying Diffs is the start up job.

with ANY diff, all the load goes thru the pin(s).......

PoS cause issues with where on the SIDE gears, has nothing to do with the diff pin. The 88-91 D series and 90-93 B series diff pins are not hardened, therefore the spider gears eat thru the pin.
