Default Lowering boost picture

im looking for the picture, diagram really, that shows how to lower boost. i've searched for it, and the link in the forced induction FAQ thread doesnt work.

It's the one with the side view of the actuator with the actuator arm cut, threaded and connected with an inversely threaded sleeve.

thanks.

If a wastegate is set at 8psi you cant lower it by threading the rod.

Sure you can, if the wastegate is cracked open a little bit it will only reach a certain amount. This also makes the turbo a bit laggy when doing this. Me personally I'd just find a gate that has a lower spring setting on the actuator, like a 5psi setup and fab it on your turbo.
