The atkins diet is like running 20 psi on a stock motor with no fuel management. Eating healthy and exercising is like running 20 psi on a built motor with hondata.

i work for the largest high end fitness equipment dealers in the US. all the body builders and trainers we have working for us agree, if you want loose weight, cut your starches and non-fiber carbs. the atkins diet, done properly IS healthy. it promotes a balance of fiberous carbs... that vegitables (those are good for you last i heard) and lean protein, and some fat (not a stick of butter a day).
compare that with anything you have read in mens health or muscle and fitness or bodybuilding, and it will be the same.
heres an analogy..
some people on atkins suck, and eat tons of fat and do it all wrong, some people turbo their cars and make them fast, and they suck as well because they race on the street and not on the track.
