Hello all-
I got hooked on hondas when I went to Japan with the army back in 99. I was stationed in Alaska and shipped a dohc ZC home with me for my 89 hatch. Needless to say a nasty divorce ate that car. A new wife and another 89 hatch and here I am
I've been browsing SuperHonda and HT for years now and was so tired of the yo yo homeboy bullshit I gave up on the net. That's changed now that I found the site. It's nice to be at a place where people other than me bought the HELMS mod. Wish I would have found ya all a few years ago as my 89 hatch is now in the break in phase.
I won't go crazy with the mods list just some of the major stuff
89 Hatch DX (Love the EF's. Allmost left the DX badge on lol)
LS/Vtec (b18b, OBD0 B16 head with stock cams) Rywire to OBD1/p28 using CROME
9.1:1 Wiseco Pistons
Eagle rods
ARP rod bolts/Head Studs
AZ race machine crank girdle/block gaurd
Fidanza 8lb flywheel
Custom proclutch 6 pucker 2500ft lb pressure plate (it's mean, feels allmost like direct engagment)
S1 tranny with a Quaife LSD
Raaxle axles
Endyne crankcase vent/catchcan
PeakBoost Integra turbo kit fab to the EF
38mm Tial wastegate
Garret T3/T04E 57 trim .63 a/r (Plan on 15lbs of boost)
Turbo XS RFL blow off
PWR Intercooler
92-95 civic Fluidyne Rad V-mounted
MSD 6AL with SS blaster coil
Custom wire tuck
More goodies but who cares about the non go fast gizzmos
Been on this car for allmost 4 years paycheck to paycheck and I'm now breaking it in.
Like I said wish I had run across this place sooner, would have made my build easier as the knowledge base has knowledge lol.
I have a digital camera and will get some pictures if anyone cares to see. No video cam but I'll try and get one to make a ripper vid for u all if ya want after break in.

Now some carpet horsepower
One of the Mani while on the stand. It's nasty/raining outside and I have the car on stands (redid the oil return) I'll have some pics of it in a day or two. It's not green anymore either. Had it repainted white. It cracks me up that SuperHonda.com used my pic for thier parts section.
