Too much time spent on the "wire tuck" ----.

Nothing wrong with carbs. They are just hard to keep adjusted for emmisions and efficiency on daily cars.

Nothing wrong with carbs. It's that manifold that's killing it. That turn below the carb sucks for keeping the fuel suspended.

I dont think that there is a car on the road with a carburator that has to pass emissions tests. You couldnt get that thing to pass emissions in any state annyways. The engine is too old for that car.So its obviously its just a show car but if they do drive it Im pretty shure they have "some way" to pass emissions tests ;) ....but why wory about the little things >:D

Yeah there is ??? Even look at CRX's and Civic's with the carb's, they have to pass, and when I had my 85 Caprice it had to pass emissions and it had a 305 with a 4 barrel carb

There are millions of cars on the road with carbs that have to pass emissions most cars came with carba in the mid 80's and before

Had an 89 Accord that was carb'd. Her in Houston they do emissions test on 1981 and later. I have a 71, so they just check my horn and lights and parking brake.
