Lost PCV setup and valve, can I drive without it?

On my d16a1 dohc zc, I put a new motor in and I cant find where I put my PCV box for the back of the block or the valve.

Can you run it leaving the block open to atmosphere or does oil/mist shoot out of there?

Any temp fixes? I dont care if its not recirculated into the intake again, I just dont wanna lose oil

you wont lose any more oil than normal w/out it. just try to direct it towards the ground or make a catch-can.

capped off piece of PVC with 2 barbed fittings and a small filter on top, run a hose form your VC and one from teh back of the block.

How do you get a line off the back of the block if you dont have anything to cap it with?

Its just an open hole isnt it? can I jb weld a PCV cap on it, tap that for a 1/4" npt barb, to the catch can blah blach

I dont know how to make something off of the back of the block basically, when its just bare surface and a hole

you'd have to get creative with it, usually you run the line from the box to the catchcan. but using you own barbed fitting you could run a larger hose form there which is a good thing
