That is actually a caterham 7 as apposed to a super 7.

the original is a lotus and it was called the super 7.
the kit car that you can get is called the caterham 7.

I hope to be building one in the next few years. we are planning on putting in a 20b engine in it too. Should be a blast. 20b is the 3 rotor rotary engine, they are light as hell and monstrous in HP.

20bs arent really that light, they weigh as much as an ls1, and they come with 280 hp stock.... but they are capable of making good numbers

yea you can, but its not like a honda motor. You have to be very good at tuning. You cant just playit by ear and listen for detonation, most the time the first "ping" your hear will be a cracked apex seal and the next will be a thrown seal
