once you feel what the car has it will be hard to leave it at only 2-5 pounds on the street. but probilby more streetable if you did lol.

i think 300+ is very do-able in this day and age with all the nice heads very cheap. if you were to run some double hump heads it should be easy too but finding a set that has not been milled to ---- will be hard.

im gonna use my dads cast steel heads rebuilt to 202's and a very good port and polish job. i use the parts that i stated earlier i will have me one hefty powerhouse under the hood without the turbos.

im not sure yet, my dad has two sets. i havent looked at them yet because i wanted to get the motor apart first and then figure out what parts i need and go from there. i need piston rings lol, and i also need rod bearings. itll get done little by little. i may be getting the heads redone next week restored back to stock specs with fresh valves and springs. so i have a better motor than the 305.

yea the 305's are eaaaa ok i guess if that is all you got to work with. if I do another chevy it will be a destroked 400 now that would be a good turbo motor

there's too much domestic chat in here. I didn't see ONE mention of a honda, so I vote this thread gets locked! :P

Sounds like a good plan. A turbo'd sbc is no joke. I just never really got how a carbuerated vehicle is tuned. I guess I'm too new school... Some sort of rising rate fpr? MSD BTM?
