the 350 that im repairing now is actually going to be my dads to put into his caprice while i build the other 350 for my TA. i will be putting it in my TA to get rid of the 305. the 305 is going to blow sooner or later in the TA because it has a rod knock and i think the crank has walked but it continues to be a trooper. 4200 rpm rippers on the highway and it still wont go through the floor.

Well in that case get everything worked out turbo wise on the 305 til it blows haha

what year TA did you have? I could've sworn you had a 'maro. I had to pass up a deal on a 1982 Firebird 301 Turbo the other day on ebay. Made me sad. OEM turbocharged, that rocks.

i want to but i need turbo parts bad, looking for 2 t3/to4e hybrids, or one nice large turbo that will give me a decent amount of boost. id rather go single though so i can simplify the build. i also need a nice size inter cooler( tomorrow ill get a rough estimate on size id like), bov of nice size, and wastegate of nice size. also i have an '82 firebird trans am(the proper name). too bad you passed up on that TA man, those are quite rare actually. but yeah if you can help me get a boost setup going ill start it. lol jk im already working on funds.

i planned on a holley 4150 or a quick fuel 750cfm carb so i can convert it to blowthrough or drawthrough for boost. i also want to use a weiand team g intake(summit #wnd-7531). havent decided on a cam though because if i go boost i dont wnt to buy 1 cam and tunraround and buy another i was looking a speed pro's (trw-l2441f30) 8.92 cr with 6 inch rods.

well for power wise running naturally aspirated i hoped around anywhere from 300-450 horsepower. with such low compression though that my not be obtainable. ----, i can probably get around 600-800 horsepower with just 10-16 pounds of boost if my calculations are right. i only want to crank to boost up when someone is acting a *** and thing they can play with me. id really only run 2-5 pounds street and crank it at the track.
