lol this thing was fun until we took it into the mud with no air filter and i think we fucked up the carb lol... oh yeah it has a centrificul clutch that we welded so it was direct drive and OMFG did this thing whip it, so fun

ok, the second picture is how you steer it, the rods connect to those two front tires, and you can see the throttle cable running to the pedal.. nahh no action shots.. also this took 1 day to convert from a minibike into a ghettotrike, which is what we named it

it was never meant to be good, just to be fun and run, the end happened when we took it off road and fucked up the carb, and then coming down the hill the tire became flat, so we took off the tire and rode down the hill on the rim, also it had no brake from the front, the person on the back had to use the brake

Just get another engine.. cant be too expensive, heck, I found a push mower, took the engine apart and cleaned it, stuck it back together.. Free mower :P

Here is my trike I made for my buddys little boy. It was a way for me to learn how to weld. We cut it all up, peiced it back together,welded it, took a grinder to it, and painted it. it started as a radio flyer we dug out of a trash can.
we lowered it 4", streched it 3.5" and put like a 50drgree rake on it.... Can the kid even reach the pedals? It doesn't look like it. Make it adjustable size so the kid can grow with it. Wouldn't take much. Just cut it in half right in the middle and drill 3-4 holes into each side. Then get a sturdy pipe that fits inside the frame, drill holes in it and use a couple bolts to adjust it. That's what I'd do anyway.

Well the trike is now in Nebraksa so we made it on a last minute thing. His dad is now in Iraq...he left a couple of weeks ago. I just wanted Caleb (the little boy) to be able to take it with him. He'll be able to ride it in a few months. Until then...he's satisfied to just pushing it around and climbing onto it all by himself. Making it adjustable is a really good idea though.
