A childhood friend found a baby squirrel and somehow got a momma cat to raise it with a new litter of kittens. It was a pretty cool pet, but would freak out and run up the drapes and generally get into trouble knocking ---- over when it was hyper.

AFAIK pet tree squirrels are "cracked out all the time"
What about a Fennec fox?
