I usually don't speak up on a subject like this but this time I feel it was wrong. crx88si locked the hotrex install thread based on Josh oweing WOT a manifold and maybe other items. Which he has started to make and WOT has specified he doesn't need till a later date. The install thread is not the place to be hashing it out. The items weren't techincally sold through HMT in the classifieds. Hotrex is banned from there anyway. We all put in a lot of time in on the install and the thread could have been a basis for discussion on that subject. You have penilized the entire NE crew who participated and I feel thats wrong. I was going to post pics and found this to be bullshit. Please reconsider your stance on this matter. Josh selling ---- has nothing to do with the install. If people buy from him when told not to, its not really any fault of HMT or its members.

Retarded, unlock the thread, Hotrex is banned from classifieds. Anyone who deals with him outside of that has their own butt on the line, it doesn't have to do with us or our install thread.

yeah whats the deal on this? all of us had put a lot of time into this install, and want to share or thoughts on the install with the other HMT fam. because josh and WOT have some buisness to deal with does not make it write to shut down all our hard work. that thread not ounce got carried away from the matter in hand...

it has everything to do with hmt. nobody on hmt wants to be scammed, nobody on hmt deserves to be scammed. when one of our members is a scammer or getting scammed it's our business, it's our right to know what's going on, and it's our right to try to help in whatever way we can. Ignoring bullshit like this just makes it go around and effect even more people. If people see that we don't tolerate scamming we have a better chance of not getting scammed.

that's bullshit, if you do go out and sell ----, it's your responsibility to go out and ship ----, simple as that. don't offer things for sale if you can't ship them in a timely manner. and you can't say that everyone has read the banned list, hotrex doesn't operate within the for sale section so they could have never seen the list.

yeah and its also your responsibility to look or at least ask around for vouches on the shipping habits of anyone you by from. when i buy anything from anyone i do this, and make sure that the type of money i send is refundable if need be.
yeah i understand that it sucks, but you need to be more smart when it comes to shipping out any sum of money to a complete stranger

as far as I'm concerned ---- the east coast for allowing hotrex to do this bullshit to people and stick up for him. If you think it's ok for him to ---- people like this and take forever on shipping then I hope you get scammed.

How about this, a fairly new guy on here pmed me a while back, he had a few informative posts, he seemed legit, gave me his address and phone number and said he has the LS tranny I was interested in. I called him at least 10 times during the process of the transaction, the tranny was at a local shop he bought it from, so I told him to let me know when it was in his possesion so I could send the money, I called about every other day. So he gets the tranny, I send the money, we keep good communication. then he e-mails me that he got my money, and I never hear from him again, he doesn't answer pms, e-mails, phone calls, messages, nothing. I got my money back from the money orders minus a service charge. but I check this fucker out thoroughly, called him, good communication, everything, and I still never got my ----.

IT'S THE ------- SELLER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS IN A TIMELY MANNER

The point is the post was locked and had nothing to do with the sale of parts. It just seems to take presidence over our install. I dont think its right for people to be scammed and will stand up for whoever is the scammer. I am standing up for the rest of the guys that worked very hard and have pics and video on the subject.

And....we shouldn't have been so lax on hotrex selling behind the scenes, but if we banned him now, it wouldn't help this situation. What we can do is get these transactions cleared up, and tell him that if we hear about him again, he's gone. We should have done it in the beginning, but we didn't, and now we're stuck with doing it now. :-\
