They had the truck in Hot Rod magazine a few months back. Not super big turbo and a small hit of nitrous. The trick to his drag times is he runs an allison transfer case from the huge diesel 4x4 trucks chevy has and launches in 4wd. I can't remember if it's 4 wheel low but it gets it.

its def not 4 low. you can only go like 35-40mph with the gears whining for mercy in 4 low

did u see the rear tires during that up close of the rear tire part in that video.. that doesnt look safe!

You can't just transfer between the two at full throttle in a split second.

It's 4 high the whole way

I read his setup and he said nothing about a cage.. what track lets you run a 10 with out a cage

I've seen it done. Not at full throttle obviously ::) but it's very possible. I raced my roommate in his F350 and he launched in 4wd high and ------- raped me. As I was waiting for my tires to stop spinning in 1st he was shifting into second in 2wd and GONE. It sucks to get smoked by a 8000+lb. truck. :-[

Well, with that much power, he doesn't risk it, that's all I'm saying, he changes it all the time while driving, but not racing.

i's got an old 81 f-250, and i raced people in 4 high and kicked it back into 2wd all the time, it was a real blast, people wouldn't think this big ass truck next to them would do any thing, but when i walked away from them, and they're tires were still spinin, i'd just chuckle, and keep on goin,

i'm sure he runs 4 high all the time tho, other wise he wouldn't have bought a 1500 $ t-case

i know i sure as hell would use 4 high....

It's not on his web site, his friend who tunes the car is just active on the Megasquirt forum.
