Have you guys seen mad dog's lifted 4x4 f350 4door that runs in the 12's? I will post tonight if its not a repost. It is running a 6cyl cummins with 90 some pounds of boost. :o

I'd bet the noise when he shifts is compressor surge b/c he more than likely has to let off the gas so the tranny can "catch", kinda like having 12psi on a stock clutch. Since the trucks don't have BOVs and he's letting off at the top of the rpm band, its gotta be compressor surge.
He lost a lot of ground everytime he shifted, imagine if he's tranny could handle WOT the whole way, hehe... What a piece of crap tranny, it couldn't even handle 1500++FT./LBS of torque... |
