the web server wasnt down, the dns server just was...

you could've loaded the page by typing in the ip address

Personally I wouldn't run anything that you rely on with fedora, you should have at least gone with rhel if you wanted to stay with the redhat. I will choose gentoo or slackware anydays over fedora.

i didnt choose it godaddy did.

if it was up to me HMT would be windows server, iis, and asp.net

right now its a solid fedora/apache/php setup
