Most everything is completely out of control. I have seen guns bring order.

Have you ever been around someone who pulled a gun, or fired one, constructively? I have, three times. The only reason I don't own a gun is because of my temper, and that reflects on me not on guns and their uses.

Permit doesnt matter in NC. If an officer walks up to you, and you inform them you have a weapon on you, your fine. Its when you dont tell them and they find it that you get in trouble.

was getting one when i lived in vegas, but now i'm back in san diego and ca says no guns.
however if you are a bounty hunter you can carry a gun 24/7. you only need to bring in a few bail jumpers a year to keep your status so i'm thinking about doing that.

i'm not sure if the info is still correct, it was 4 years ago when i checked on it.

I'm just curious WHY you feel safer though...I wouldn't, I'd feel either more responsible or more like a target.

Anyone remotely keep up with politics? it's soon to be the wild west once again. guns don't kill people. people kill people.

I do however gotta agree with chris though....the SMARTEST way to handle a given situation is to stay the ---- out of the situation.

yes i believe in self defense. but by owning a gun in a way precipitates the fact you'll need to use it. often if the option isnt available, you'll choose to make better decisions under pressure in a given hostile situation.
Even if you personaly don't value your own life, there is a high probability that someone else does, If you drop the im a hardass mentality and realisticly think about "what material possesion do i own that is worth dying over?" most rational individuals come to the same or similar answer.

To top that, 90% of you people that claim all the baddass ---- they would do if they had a gun and somebody messed with them.....
has never put a bullet in somebody's face or had brain matter splattered all over them. much less been in a situation that your life was TRUELY threatened and
could not be resolved by any other means.

Do I think people should own guns? yes of course. it's america and people should be free to make their own choice.
do i think guns are the end all answer to any chaos or situation? No. perhaps some situations but those are few and far far between.
just my two cents
