The bottom line is liberals and people for gun control are lazy. They want the government to take care of everything for them. It all comes down to personal responsibility. Liberals want less, conservatives want more. I can't depend on the government to ensure my safety all the time. Therefore, I should have the right to take the necessary steps to protect myself.

If I want to buy 10 assault rifles and 5 handguns today, then I should be able to, without anyone looking over my shoulder, tapping my phone lines, telling me no...

all registered guns are fine in my book, even FA guns should be allowed. And as far as the 'lunatic in the mall' scenario, there is a waiting period and a background check before they can even think of releasing the gun to someone. And they specifically ask everytime, 'are you crazy'
