The car has no AC or heat anyway, so no big deal. I did make two DP's... the shorty one pictured and one that hooks up to the exhaust system (if it was there) so I can go to that if need be. I welded EGT and o2 bungs on both... I'll use the open DP long as I can stand it because all the heatshields and exhaust weighed like 62 lbs or someshit.

hey shouldnt you put the egt closer to the exhaust outlet near the head to read the best exhaust temp? looks good man youre gonna love the way it sounds you hear the spool up of the turbine more very cool

hehehe, looks good gimpy. Where the hell do you live that you can get away with driving with an open downpipe? I'd last about 15 minutes here before I get pulled over Also, what did you use to make the downpipe? just a Mandrel bend? I'll be making one soon and want to know what to pick up for supplies.

I live in iowa, and if we had emissions 70% of the cars would be off the road here.. no bullshit.

thats just a 90 degree i clocked back a bit to keep away from the clutch slave cyl, a 4bolt garrett flange and i used my little miller welder.
