Default Last Weekends project (warning vw content)

Got the call from a buddy a few weeks ago that his turbo rocco was having some weird issues, we setup a time an i made the two hour drive to go help him out. did some re-wiring an did a small amount of tweaking the ecu (DTA pro. just thought id post up some pics of the car see if any folks on here may enjoy it

the car:


motor setup: 2l 16v, dta, GT30, TDI 02j (i think) trans

Clean setup. Not bad. Get it tuned and some ripper vids posted.

its gonna be at the 10psi tune for a bit, the suspension an brakes really need to be sorted before throwing more hp at it haha i think he may want to re-fresh the motor a bit as well, then really crank up the boost.

it is a hair on the lean side, but has ran awesome on that tune for several years now. car was built an tuned by another fellow here on the west side, an then sold to the guy who i worked with. we basically swapped back to the dyno tuned map from his emissions map an tried a few other settings. i have not much experiance with the DTA software so it was more learning than actual tuning.

there is an issue with the coolant temp sensor which seems to hurt its cold starts, that is mainly what we tweaked besides fixing the wiring issues.

more tuning will come

you guys like rally cars? this is the team i tune for


kickin scooby awd turbo *** in a 130ish hp 2wd rabbit



but sadly, olympus rally this year
