I almost miss my 4.7. It seems like a solid motor with plenty of power. Shitty gas mileage though. Have you done the "snip" mod or can you do it on that year? I did it on mine and the ****** would break the tires loose shifting into second. Much harder shifts, but it will shift too soon (4500ish)if you don't shift manually.

Before lifting my highway mileage was 22mpg and 15 was my city average. I've got a ton of extra crap into it now though.
Its actually at the body shop, I'm driving a Explorer rental. Some cuntbag decided to T-Bone me a few weeks ago.
