anyone know what is the largest non-vtec honda engine? got a discussion going on here at work.

yeah, sorry. litre size. 1.6L is the CRX Si engine, curious how big they went before V-TEC took over. and what car they where in.

there is a 2.3 non vtec (i think) in some preludes and accords, i think it's an f23, if not then i know there is an f22 (2.2) in accords

yes the biggest is the H23 from the 92-96 prelude si. they had 160 hp and 160 lb of torque. and yes the new 2.4 liters have i-vtec, but its not the i-vtec like the rsx, its like the civic si, very very gay (but still quick in the civic si)

Honda Passport up to 1996. 2.6L I4 non-vtec. 120hp/150tq.

Dunno if the engine is a true Honda engine since the Passport was built by Izusu as a sister vehicle to the Rodeo.

i have a h23 for sale.. out of a prelude.. good shape low miles... :) computer wires and all... all u gotta do is swap a h22 head on it.. :) vtec!!!!
