I can understand your point, as the only thing I have seen is the ---- up liberal media's point of view, however I still have no sympathy on any of those ***** down there.

Living in Okinawa and experiencing the weather here has givin me a whole new perspective on building a home to withstand weather. I wish I could post a picture of my house right now (im at work) but the entire thing is built to withstand the harshest of conditions and I honestly was considering building a home in the US just like my neighbors home. Its a beautiful home, 100% concrete, porch, garage, sun room...very nice place. Doesn't cost any more to build like that than building a stick built home...

maybe overseas concrete block doesn't cost as much, however, here in florida, it does. my house is wood frame, built in 1986, and its been through every hurricane since then. the places that get trashed are shithole trailers.

its not brick, its a formed house. Just like a basement, but above ground.

I say go for it. if you got the cash and the time, and don't mind being stranded in a devested town or city for a few days, then by all means, go on. maybe you can help with the clean-up afterwards. I'm sure they'd appreciate it.

Anybody keep track of this? Or am I the only weather person on here....

http://www.wunderground.com/tropical.../at200704.html

I am seriously considering flying down to Kingston or grand caymon to watch this storm......The ticket is at most $1000 and I am thinking of checking out this cat 5 hurricane for my self...I am an avid storm chaser and do not have a job so ---- it.......the stout is strong.......what do you think?

Uhh ..so last time i checked, the grand canyon wasn't in mexico, where the storm is. neither is any kingston i show on google. so i'm not 100% sure of where your planning on flying, and for 1000$, you must not live in the US any how...
