depends on what your doing....datalogging needs a decent 800mhz-1ghz computer to really shine. especially RTP with Crome Pro.

you have that right.. crome in general is processor intensive.. i've got a p2 366 that just not cutting it.. i recently got a P3 700 laptop.. still in the process of getting it to work right.. i might decide to ditch it and get another laptop..

i'd have to see what laptops you have and specs and all..
300 is about going price for P3 700 laptops from what i'm seeing right now anyway.
