here's my official predictions for the nba, I wrote this last Thursday....
You all knew Miami would get it together sooner or later, bulls put up a heck of a fight though.
Spurs are clearly going to win their series, sucks because they're so boring to watch. Impressive comeback by the kings though.
I cannot believe the lakers were stupid enough to lose to Phoenix last night, how dumb do you have to be to let a 3-1 lead slip away.
I'm glad the nets got it together to take the series over the pacers. although they let them back into the games way too often.
Cavaliers are my favorite team to watch simply because of Lebron, hate on him all you want his actions speak for themselves. a triple double his first playoff game, two 40+ point games, and two game winning shots. He's the man no matter how you look at it. Hopefully they'll take care of business tonight versus the wizards and shut them out.
2nd round predictions:
Clippers vs. Suns: Suns will take this series in 6 games
Mavericks vs. Spurs: I'm going to go with the upset on this one, I think Dallas will get it in 7 games
Pistons vs. Cavaliers: much as I love Lebron, he's only one man and against good defense he won't be able to carry the team anymore, pistons will take this in 5 games.
Heat vs Nets: Vince Carter is a one man wrecking crew, unfortunately for him, Shaq is even bigger. If the heat can keep their act together, they'll take this series in 6 games.
Eastern Conference Finals:
Heat vs. Pistons: I think the pistons are just too consistant every night to not beat the Heat. Sorry guys but you're going to lose in 6 games.
Western Conference Finals
Mavericks vs Suns: Both teams are versed in good offense, but I think the mavericks defensive edge will give them the push they need to take the suns, this series could go to 7 games.
NBA Finals:
Mavericks vs. Pistons: this one is a tough call, but ultimately I'm going to have to rely on the fact that the Pistons had four all stars on their starting line-up and are just to efficient every night. I think they'll take the championship in 6 games.
Those are my thoughts anyway, we'll see how wrong I am in another month

I'm so glad the Lakers lost, Kobe sucks, well as a person.
I agree with your predictions, I'm not sure about the Spurs vs Mavs just yet, I think the Spurs will beat them. As good as the Suns are, no match for either one that wins. In the East Detroit, no questions......Miami will give them a little battle, but in the end its no match, unless Shaq can play like he's 25 again.
