kyle got 248 pieces of new toys

yes, today, being the last day of the sears 4th of july sale, went out and bought myself a 248 piece mechanic's tool set, I guess I'm a mechanic now, hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I'll get some pictures on here when I get around to it, I'm just really happy about these tools right now.

I've already used them to take out my battery mounting bracket.

I think mine was 271 pieces. :P I love them. It sure beats digging through a box of scattered ---- to find the right socket. ::)

Re:kyle got 248 pieces of new toys

I used to have to dig through my parent's tool sets looking for the right ----, and they hardly ever had what I needed, but now I don't have to. I kinda wanna break one of them so I can go get the craftsman guarantee replacement.

I found out the hub nuts are larger than 27 mm, I thought they were 22, but I guess they're 32.

Re:kyle got 248 pieces of new toys

so I'll just buy my b16, wait for it to get shipped here, load it into the hatch, drive up to fort collins, get the swap done, load the d15 into the back, and drive back, great idea.

how about you just come down here? I have tools now so you won't have to bring yours. The wife and kids will be fine on their own for a few days.

just wondering, what did you break them on and did you make an effort to try and position them perpendicular to the bolt? i think its very important not to have them at an angle as it reduces the strength of the ratchet/socket significantly

Not a bad deal. After wrenching for a living for 2 years, I've spend $11,000 on tools. It really hurts. Craftsman sucks if you have to use it every day.
