I had a long, empty, cop free road to drived down last night, so I tried to top out the speedo. I got to 116mph and was at about 7200 rpms and the car wouldn't go any faster, does the pm6 have a speed governor?

I would have posted this in EM, but I wanted everyone to know I went 116mph

I have hit ~118-120 with a P06, but it cut out after that. If you just can't go any faster and it's not cutting out, then you just don't have the power to go faster. :P

I don't think there is actually a "governor" on it, I think it just cuts out so you would know when you hit it. It feels like your motor just took a ---- and your face heads for the dash. what motor are you running?

---- in my b16 rex its suppost to redline at 8200 rpm's. but it hits they rev limiter at like 7400. and will hit it again in 5th at say 114 mph. i aslo have a pr3 ecu. maybe i just got to chip it

PR3 has a governor...wont let you go past 114mph...

My car cuts out at like 107 as you can see in my vids i posted i didnt go past 105 for a reason time to run a switch off the VSS sensor

:P 150mph. the ecu is chiped from who or were i dont know.
my other ecu sucks cut of is at 120. when i found that out i took the bicth out and out my other one in. good thing i keep them in the car. :P

i hit the rev-limit in my crx si (pm6) @ about 135-140 (speedo stops @ ~125)

well my car stops at 115 mph and If i push it the ecu kicks in and I drop from 115 to 80 in like 2 seconds and slowly decreases. It suck cuz i was trying to beat my frinds saab back on campus and his car maxes at 140 mph
