Knee surgery this coming Tuesday.
Awesome, so the other day I had it confirmed: I tore the Miniscus in my left knee and they're going to try to sew it back together on Tues 15th.
The injury initially happened 4 years ago, I was skating at Robb Field skate park in San Diego trying to impress this really hot asian girl there. Tried to boardslide this long rail, made it all the way to the end and slipped out. Landed with my left leg tucked and all the inertia twisted it sideways, dislocated it, then it popped back into place.
After all that, I find out she's there with her boyfriend Stupid wench. So it swells up for a few weeks, can't walk right for like a month. Then life goes on. Now it's four years later and I teach breakdancing, I put pressure on it in the wrong place and it dislocates extremely easily. Going out doesn't hurt too bad, but popping it back in, that hurts like hell! So hopefully this will get it fixed, doctors are saying 6 weeks on crutches, no weight bearing, 3-4 months total recovery time before I can play Basketball again
How about you guys? any of you have surgery on your knees?
By the way, send me money- I prefer Paypal

Re: Knee surgery this coming Tuesday.
I had a knee scope done in April. April 11th to be exact. im still not 100%.
Cant run, and have a real hard time kneeling down. stand on one leg, and do a bend at the knee kinda thing...I fall on my ***.
LONG and SLOW recovery.

Re: Knee surgery this coming Tuesday.
No knee, but i used to have shoulder problems. I think I dislocated it 4-5 times in as many years. The two most memorable were hitting a tree after flying over the bars on a Honda Trail 70 at abouit 20mph, and falling down some stairs. Hasn't happened in 9 years now though, knock on wood.
