Notice there were no kicks thrown, and Kimbo's pussies got all ruffled when Gannon threw a knee? It was supposed to be a 'boxing match'. If it would have been a full on fight, Kimbo would be done in the first few minutes. Not saying that Gannon is a bad ass or anything, he is a better fighter than Kimbo tho.

And Chris, it all depends on what type of fight it is. Straight boxing, a boxer would win anyday. MMA, a boxer would have his legs knocked out from under him within seconds.

MMA is the only fighting i like because i intertwines everything, I've been a wrestler for almost 20 years now and about 3-4 years ago i started boxing and grapling. The first time i went into a MMA fight i realized what i had been missing jusr wrestling, but in the real world boxing will do nothing for you in a street fight. How long do fights really last on your feet when your in the street.

Well lets see i have been in 2 fights since I have been an adult 18+. None of them reached the ground. Simple know how to throw fight is over simple. Both guys were bigger than me. Both took 3-4 hits and it was done. i didnt get hit once. Guess all those years of boxin didnt count ::)

I dunno, I think no matter how skilled you are, if you're that big and that wild you're going to be able to ---- some ---- up. I doubt kimbo fights "sober" anyways. :-\ That nigga crazy. :S

The video Im talking about it called JiggaCity. Its a video about black clubs and all the fights that happen in and around them. There is porn and what not in it. Lots of fights. Close to the end, kimbo is in a parking garage with his crew. There is a tall slim(not fat or skinny, but built like Rich Franklen) fighter standing across from him. Him and all his people look like they are from Brazil or something. Fight starts, and kimbo gets KOed in like 3 punches. His "boys" stand him back up and he falls over. They stand him up again and he falls over. His boys keep trying to get him to stand up and fight but it wasnt happen. They bitched for 5 more min and that part of the video ended.

:1 He would last about 3 sec in the ring with Tank.

thats if they can get you down or catch you successfully. All it takes is a real good punch to knock you out. Unless you can take a real punch. but not many people can take a hit from Tyson :P

He had Gannon on the defensive the whole time, raising hell on his ass. Either Kimbo's endurance sucks (compared to Gannon's) or one of those knees to the face fucked him up somehow.

I've seen a few grapplers not be able to choke out a few human tanks I know. 99% of people, they'd have an advantage over if they got inside their opponent's reach, but there are one or two out there who break holds they shouldn't be able to, and stuff a fist in your face until you are ruined.

True. Also, anyone really great at his craft can win just about any fight. MY point is only that most fights do end up on the ground, and just because one is a boxer doesnt mean he can keep on his feet if his opponent doesnt want him to.
