The whole thing was rigged. At the end of the second round, when Kimbo was getting pounded, the ref should've stopped the fight. Had it been WEC or UFC, they would have stopped a while before the end of the round. He couldn't even move.
I think it was all setup for Kimbo to walk through Thompson, and when he ran out of gas, it almost backfired on them. IMO
