Well I wouldn't say it's next to nothing, Thompson was just as tired. He does have a lot more training to go if he really wants to win more though. He showed some promising defense on the ground that's for sure.

ya big nig couldnt even get off the floor... hahahha... In the interview Kimbnig was cool though... really humble, sayiong he knows he has alot to learn. Thats good... If he learns and gets some conditioning he could be a serious threat. I dont see anyone knkocking him out very easily at all. You c an see that hes been training too... He looked alot leaner than in his previous fights. Nice to see hes taking it seriiously. First time hge went to the ground ia was like uh oh...... BUt, He did work. If he had beter Jinjitsu I think he could have finnished earlier... There were a couple times he had the euro poof locked up that if he knew what to do and how to use his position better, he could have ended it earlier...

Its funny, everyone watches kimbo on youtube in backyard fights and expects he can get in the ring and go 10 or 15 minutes with a real athlete. He got winded and couldnt do anything but lay there in the end.

I think everyone ragging on kimbo are kinda missing the point. The guy never went out and said he was the best at mma. He's a street baller and a damn good one. He's a great money maker his story is one unlike most people. If people watch him improve his skills besides just throwing blows people will be behind him. The guy can throw a punch something majority of mma fighters cant do. He has the ability to be a great fighter but he is old and time isnt on his side. Maybe 2-3 years of training with mma fighters will make him a contender but hardly one of the best.

Kimbo has learned nothing from bas. He has zero ground game and could not knock out a fighter who is KNOWN for being knocked out.

Heavy hands? That's ridiculous. Look up James Thompson and see what he is known for. Done? WEAK CHIN. Kimbo could not knockout someone known for their horrible chin. He beat a can that took a dive in bo cantrell, a 95 year old tank abbott who left his barstool 15 minutes before the fight, and now EliteXC rigs his fights against someone known for being knocked out because the dumb nig cant do it? Anyone who thinks that JT was out is a complete idiot. He was standing there arguing with the ref.

Gary Shaw threatened to fire Thompson after the fight because at a press conference he tried to make kimbo look tough by saying "thompson is on his way to the hospital because of what kimbo did". The whole thing was rigged. At the end of the second round, when Kimbo was getting pounded, the ref should've stopped the fight. Had it been WEC or UFC, they would have stopped a while before the end of the round. He couldn't even move. ::)
I think it was all setup for Kimbo to walk through Thompson, and when he ran out of gas, it almost backfired on them. IMO
