KG Parts "Injector-Rehab.com" Review

I got some "1000cc injectors" from a friend who got them from a friend, who nobody really knew if they were used or not, etc.. I figured I'd send them in so 6 years of work wasn't fucked up by someone's guesses of what my injectors were.

Went to the KG Parts website (www.Injector-Rehab.com). It's a cool site with chicks on it and a theme that reminds me of the heart attack grill. Once you fill out the forum it's like a tracking of what's happening throughout the process. Sent the injectors in without having to talk to anyone, and when the deed was done to them they updated my tracking thingy on their site requesting payment. Simple process all around.

Online request made and injectors mailed in: 12/19/08
Payment request by Kg (injectors finished): 12/26/08
Payment made via Paypal: 12/26/08
Injectors arrived via Fedex: 01/03/08

Joseph Davis would be able to tell me how dangerous a 40cc difference between injectors would be, but I don't have to worry about it anymore. Everything went smooth as ass with these guys. I'm hesitant with new, unknown sponsors for obvious reasons, but KG Parts as far as service and what they do are up there with Tunertoys, officially.

Whats the cost of that? Blundell said on my initial dyno pull with new plugs that my #4 Precision 1000 injector is not flowing correctly matched with my other three. He said it could be the G.E. fuel rail as the fuel delievery line can go pass/close off some fuel when installed. He said sometimes they just remove the steel sleeve in it. But I'd like to see what my flow is per injector as they are about 2 years old now.

Here's the thread about it. With return shipping and everything its around $50.

So what's this issue with the GE fuel rail? Cause I have one.

Re: KG Parts "Injector-Rehab.com" Review

G.E. like the BDL and STR are same freaking thing in essence. If you take it off and look through the opening where the fuel deliver line goes you can see a steel sleeve through out the rail. Now look at the threaded part. See how it overlaps the injector #4 thats what he is talking about. it has to backwash to get the fuel it needs to inject into the cylinder. I removed my steel sleeve in mine when I got home. But I havent been back to the dyno. Waiting on my PT6262 to come in with your oil line for some testing in the early spring I hope.

Wow, this was a nice surprise. It is always a nice to hear feedback from customers allowing us to know what works for them and what they dont like. Adding the ticketing system was done in response to many customers wanting to know their status along the way. It was a good addition and works great but does require a little bit of work on our end. I have to admit that it is a little bit more work and is hard to keep up with at times. It is hardest when 20 packages show up on the same day, or it is a holiday week ect...
Steve, going back and looking at your old ticket... it looks as if you were one of the ones who did not get the best attention in the ticketing system. Not intentional neglect but we never replied informing you we received the package, and we did not inform you of the initial results before completing, or even give you the return package tracking number. Sorry about that. Time frame does explain this as I know what the team was dealing with. Trying to cut off short for the holiday, as well as closing for an end of year inventory right before moving our location. Hopefully you can understand. ;)

It is funny how people still look at us as "new" here. I think we have been on as a sponsor for over a year (it may even be 2.. i dont recall) . I guess people see us as "new" because they themselves have not used us, or know of other that use our service. There are a few people (from this site alone) that use us all the time... they are just not vocal about it. :6
As some one else mentioned, we are very well known in certain niches, but not in others. We have been around doing this since 2002.

Thanks for the write-up! :8

I got all the info I needed with the way it went down. If I had to find something to be upset with, it's that I was really hoping to get some stickers that say rehab on them. Rehab pulls chicks.
